Getting an Abortion?
It has been a very long debate about Abortion should be legalised or not. Whether it is legal or not, it’s a very difficult decision to take. There are always two victims in abortion: One Dead, One Wounded!
For some women abortion has serious physical and emotional consequences such as infection, excessive bleeding, future ectopic pregnancy, damage to cervix, depression, low self esteem and regret. And for the baby itself, She died!
The baby in the womb, even we can’t see it yet, is a human, like us.
Fertilisation: A sperm cell penetrates a woman’s ova and a new life begins.
Day 14: A hormone produced by the embryo suppresses mother’s period.
Day 18: The tiny human being’s heart is forming, eyes start to develop.
Day 20: Basis for brain, spinal cord, and nervous systems already established.
Day 25: Child’s heart begins to beat.
Day 35: Fingers can be discerned.
Up to 6 Weeks: Baby’s face is taking shape, brain coordinating movement.
Up to 8 Weeks: All organs and body features present, fingerprints evident, tastebuds forming, palms touch sensitive.

Around 12 Weeks: Child can suck thumb, make facial expressions, kicks, moves finger and toes.

And most abortions are done around 10-12 weeks.
So, if you now are thinking of getting abortion, please do change your mind. May God bless you and your baby.
