If you are a blogger, you are most likely have known how important the PageRank is for you. The higher your website’s PageRank the faster Google Robot lands at your page. It means your new articles will be found in the Search Engine faster. It is also very important for bloggers who write articles in highly competitive keywords to compete with other similar websites.
If your blog is about product reviews, it is a must to have a high PageRank. A blog with high Pagerank is easier to join paid review programs and will get higher paid than the lower ones. In case you want to sell your website, you get a fortune if your PageRank is high.
How to increase your Google PageRank
There are some few simple tips which can hep you increase your PageRank, it takes time but it works unless you want to pay a lot of money using commercial companies to increase your Page rank.
- Join forums
Join forums which related to your website, give comments and share your knowledge to other members, and also do let them know you have a related blog. Do not forget to write your website address in your signature.
- Social Media
Use social media like Facebook, MySpace, Friendster to promote your blog. You tell your friends and your friends tell their friends, and tell their other friends, and so on.
- Give Freebies
Give freebies to your visitor like ebooks, best deals articles, current promotions, sale info. They will check your blog regularly for sure.
- Backlinks
Try to get backlinks from website with higher PageRank, it can help you boosting your PageRank.
- Blog Existence
Some people said Google like website which has existed quite long enough which show more stability. However there are many new websites too jump to high rank in such a short time. Who knows…
- No broken Link
Get rid off all links, nobody likes them. So do check your links regularly, in case your liked page is no longer exist.
- Search Engine
Don’t forget to submit your blog to major search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Altavista, etc. This should be on the top list, but I forgot.
- Update your site
One of the most important, update your blog regularly, and do not leave it to long un-updated. If it has not been updated too long, your visitor or your feed subscribers may think the website is abandoned, hence they remove you from the list, and you lost visitors.
Last one, don’t worry too much about the PageRank, just keep writing, soon or later your PageRank will increase automatically.
