Nikon website mentions the shutter lag is only a split a second. Sound
fast? Actually not really. A split a second is equal to 200 milliseconds. which is average speed. Compared to Nikon D80 which is also can be considered an advanced entry level, it has 80 milliseconds shutter lag.
